And so it is with the inaugural season in the B1G. Perhaps it's not
what we envisioned but if the team can pull together and win over
Iowa, a 9-3 finish beats a poke in the eye with a stick (seriously...
It does!). A second tier bowl can be had in a warm place, finishing
10-3 and an upbeat note.

It has been a difficult 10 years for Husker fans. The B1G was never
destined to be owned easily, though it was certainly in reach
considering the lack of any consistently stalwart teams.

I've seen a lot of negative echoes online toward players and I hope
fans will pull it together to support the team on Friday. You cannot
control what has already transpired, only your reaction to it.
