Well, with all due respect in the other direction, consider this: 

JoePa never molested anyone, yet he was the center of media scrutiny. Graham Spanier - head of the university, forced to resign. Never said a thing publicly (CHICKEN SHIT). Well, other than he unconditionally supported Curley and Schultz. Heard of them? Well, hey, no one else has either, which is why no one gives a shit who they are. They're not sensational! (Despite being already indicted). Imagine that. 

At the same time, the real monster, Jerry Sandusky, was spotted this past week, free, a FREE MAN, at a Dick's Sporting Good wearing PSU gear. 

Did anyone park their ass outside Sandusky's house? No. Did anyone try to ask him questions? Did any one of these media people stalk that guy with the idea that they'd force him to answer questions?

No, they didn't. Not a single damned one of them that I could find. 

This whole thing is a horrific set of events. The worst imaginable. Media coverage? Even worse. 

Is Joe Paterno culpable? We'll find out. Did he deserve firing? yes. 

But dear God help Penn State. I hope they recover from this somehow. So few people committed this crime. 95k students, faculty and staff deserve better.
