Apparently, Chancellor Pearlman and TO have made statements regarding
safety, and have talked with PSU officials. Pearlman's statement was
being blasted on sports talk on the way home from work today for
supporting the ex-PSU President. I read the statement and while not
hostile, I saw it as slightly supportive. He said the ex-President was
a friend and that "it is difficult for me to believe he would ignore
clear allegations of child abuse."
While I understand why the media is getting sound bites from NU, they
are really putting these men in a difficult situation. They are
sending students, employees, and fans into what could be a powder keg
and the media is asking them to light the fuse.
I watched some of the video of PSU last night, it did look scary.
