I don't see this as a "Penn State" thing. Sure, this happened at Penn
State, but it involved none of the players, almost none of the
coaching staff, and its not even remotely related to football, or this
game. Its going to be an interesting game, no doubt, but I think it
was going to be an interesting game without the circus coming to town
and setting up in the athletic department offices.
The question to me is how will this affect team preparation. They've
had an off week to prepare. That can't be good for us. We played
poorly last week, which wasn't good for us. And they are a good team
- not great, or even the best in the conference, but fully capable of
beating us at home. Frankly I'm much more worried about our ability
to come back after that loss to NwU than how this whole mess plays on
the field with the Penn State team.
So, what's the line today? Still 2.5 points? And what factors go in
to making that line?
