While I love a good BC bashing as everyone else (and he has deserved it). To
answer this question, he was not even available when SP was rejected by some
of the other candidates. FS was fired in November and BC was not fired by
the Raiders until January. Also don't forget Urban Meyer, who may never
have been considered but was one of those who was making waves at Utah and
ready for a big jump. He stated that FS's firing was what was wrong with
college football, to fire a coach who won 75% of his games, ran a clean
program and just came off a 9 win season. Meyer basically took himself out
of the running.

Well, I don't know that Bill (Neb 10 - TTech 70) Callahan was anywhere
near Pederson's top three choices after he fired Frank (9-3) Solich.

in or was rejected by not just Wanny and Nutt, but also Al Saunders
(Chiefs), Brad Chidress (Eagles), and Mike Zimmer (Cowboys).
That puts Bill (I've done an excellent job in all areas) Callahan at
least 6th choice.
