I think Denard Robinson said something similar to what Tom Osborne often said,
that you need to play well enough that an official's call doesn't affect
who wins.  Michigan didn't do that.  They had four shots from the three
yard line and couldn't score.  

I looked at that TD no-call play on a large screen HDTV frame by 
frame several times, I didn't see anything conclusive as to whether 
or not the ball touched the ground.  And Michigan still had two more
shots after that, as I recall.
