I did not think he had it in him and he was really impressive. Can't blame Beck though. We should have been able to run on this team and if he goes to more pass and Taylor goes Taylor, well that is not good.
True, we've all been skeptical of Taylor as a passer, but he sure showed some stuff yesterday. Most of them weren't pretty, but generally on target, and I thought he did a good job with decision-making, not forcing throws, being patient enough to find the open guy. I thought he showed some growth there.

SO true. Man, was that hard to watch.
Another observation from the game: Dennard might have gotten injured early. He was really favoring a shoulder/arm...it looked really limp and he would kind of hold it and massage it now and then. Saw him wave off being pulled from the game. What a warrior.
I think we are becoming a somewhat tired and banged up team right now. Just what you'd expect as you travel through the B1G. Hopefully we've got enough depth to gut it out, and hopefully we don't tank mentally.

I thought our O line play was abysmal in the running game, our coaching questionable (if Rex was gassed, why not put one of our 3 very fresh-legged freshmen in once in awhile?).

Impressive with that kind of wind, and even more impressive when you realize he delivered at least 3 more balls that should have been caught. Again, it comes down to coaching. Beck should have realized sooner that the passing game was working, the running game wasn't. By the time he did (basically desperation time at that point to try to score with not much time left on the clock) it was too late.
