[Husker] Tressel Out

I couldn't find any Vegas odds yet . . . but, if I were a betting type, I'd
lay money on candidates other than Pelini. I see Pelini having three choices
to deal with the immediate speculation and this upcoming season:
(1) tolerate it, but provide unclear response
(2) tell them all that he's not interested, and to piss-off (or something
Pelini-esque)
(3) admit that he'd be interested
Bo Pelini can take his grooming from no one better than TO. He *can* become
a Nebraska Leader; or Legend as it were. So, #2 seems like the most
obvious choice. It would be great if the press in Nebraska, and elsewhere,
would get a simple statement from Pelini himself. Until he does, the
newswires are going to continue to go haywire.
Having read through some additional stories on the matter with JT, I am
amazed at his seeming ignorance to issues on NCAA violations. Sort of
reminds me of the warden in Shawshank Redemption.
Go Big Red!

interest in the OSU job? How much does this year-long distraction impact the
focus of the team?

Mike reported earlier that the communications staff was called in to work on
NU's response to the resignation. Why would they feel the need to respond,
if not for Pelini speculation? To answer Gary's question, I'd say the
over/under on Bo's getting fed up is two questions at the next presser.
