Less than two weeks after the incident, he pled no contest to misdemeaor
trespassing and assault, crimes but not felonies, for which he later
was sentenced to probation.  Apparently, he was reinstated after being
put on probation.  It is my recollection that the quick legal resolution
was a factor in Phillips' attempt to rehabilitate.
