Football is the king with NU basketball being the  court jester. Living
in Kansas it is funny how everyone of my Kansas basketball friends try
to rib me about NU's team. The fact of the matter is I really don't like
basketball very much and this rings true for my whole family.  NU
football has defined our state not basketball but I wish them all the
best and hope they shock the shockers.

As much as I hate to say it, I feel really sorry for Colorado.  They
deserved to go and got a major snub.

NU to the NIT isn't the worst thing, but this team has got to start
making NCAA tourneys if they want the casual fan to care.

It's just what it is.
