Hehe, only if I can say, "I told you so" again to the list :)

OK, taking it back a little further. Pierce struggled the first inning
giving up 3, but settled down and pitched so-so from there, but didn't give
up any more runs. Unfortunately, he had thrown 70 pitches after 3 and Yost
came in for the 4th and gave up another run right away.

>From there, the bullpen kept them in check with Ryan Hander, Tyler King, and
Casey Hauptman holding them scoreless from there.

In the 7th, Kiser doubled with one out and Asche singles with 2 outs to get
the Huskers on the board.

In the 9th, with one out Pritchard hits for Cooper and reaches on an infield
single, moves up twice on indifference and a wild pitch. Kiser drove him in
on a groundout to the first baseman. 4-2...TWO DOWN.

Peters reaches and advances on an E-6 (otherwise game over)...Asche scores
him on a "Ground ball with eyes". 4-3....TWO DOWN

Asche swipes 2nd and then is driven home by Josh Scheffert to tie it at 4!!!
Kash K's to end the threat.

In the 10th...UCLA gets a 1 out double and an intentional walk and a 6-4 FC
puts runners on the corners with 2 outs before Hauptman gets a ground ball
to end the inning.

In the bottom half, Chad Christensen put down a bunt single to lead off the
inning and a sac bunt puts him at 2nd. After an intentional walk and a wild
pitch, the Husker have 2nd and 3rd with 1 out but back to back K's ends the
threat.

In the 11th, Hauptman sets them down in order with 2 ricochet ground balls,
the first off 1st base and the 2nd off Hauptman's leg (reminiscent of
Friday's loss).

In the bottom of the 11th, Bryan Peters leads off with a BOMB to win the
series for the Huskers!

Oh man, what a series. 3 extra inning games...two walk off wins for the
Huskers over the #5 team in the country!!!

WOW!

Skylar, Could you fill me in on the wonderful game that I missed today. I
worked in my garage no AM stations had it.I got to listen to the 8th inning
and half of the 9th. The Huskers were down 4-1 last I heard. What HAPPENED
I see that the Huskers won HOLY SHIT BATMAN.
