Keller did hold his own against an all American, reminded me of some of the past Husker greats. Keller just got the job done.

Oh man, what a game. Can I say I told you so? J/k

He was absolutely legit. Keller was awesome for NU too, he'll be all everything if he can learn some control. I liked him before, but after watching him today, holy moly.

For those of you who didn't see it or hear it, we lost 1-0 in 11 innings. They scored on a cheap grounded that went of Hauptman's leg with two outs and a runner on 3rd.

For Gerrit Cole, he had a perfect game into the 7th until Ache hit a "groundball with eyes". We had a runner on 2nd with 1 out in the 9th when Farmer led off with a single and was moved over by a perfect sac hunt from Khiry. We ended up loading the bases with an intentional walk, groundout, then another intentional walk (Cole's only 2 walks of the game, his control was SICK), but couldn't score.

Oh well, it was a great game against a VERY good team. Well worth being out in the cold ;)
