[Husker] Draft

And if he were my son, I think I'd tell him to follow his heart, do
what he wants to do, and not what I, his parent, or any of his
"advisors" are telling him to do. Of course, he should listen to the
adults, but not simply obey. He may have regrets, but they would be
his regrets, not as a result of what some adult was telling him to do.
Who says football will be there? Will he play in the majors right
away, or will he spend time in the minors? How long? As a high
school player, how many college level pitchers has he faced, let alone
major leaguers?
With all that said, I'm really glad my child doesn't have to make a
decision like this, and that, as a parent, I don't have to advise them
on one. Closest I've come is whether to give up a second job rather
than work two. Peanuts in comparison. Literally.
July 10 is only a month away, and then we'll know for sure.
