[Husker] Darin Erstad Takes Over Husker Baseball

I guess all the media types has Bolt as Erstad's top asst. Is this just 
speculation ? And I didn't mean to come off as being a troll. I was just 
trying to point out that others have had success like the manager Erstad 
played for he went from player to being a manager with little or no 
experience.

No where I've read says Will Bolt will be the assistant. I believe that is 
going to be announced tomorrow or shortly there after. He was driving up to 
Lincoln today.

As for whether or not Darin will do a good job, I never said he wouldn't, I 
just know we had MUCH more proven options and Erstad probably would still be 
with the program as a volunteer. He may turn out to be the greatest coach in 
the history of college baseball....but it doesn't mean it wasnt a 
head-scratcher at the time

Yes I do...good call. After the 5 great candidates Osborne interviewed in 
Texas yesterday, this is a SHOCK. He is WAY under qualified.

Oh well, I'll support him with ernest and hope he surprises me.

Bolt as his top assistant is q great start. Darin gave up a lot of salary to 
pay his assistants well and I commend him for that.
