Ohhhhhh. Now I get it! The real attraction in Minnesota is the pre and post-game parties at Jon's house! :-)

Here's my take on the Minnesota game.
1) It's a relatively short drive, and Minneapolis is probably a nice place to visit in October.
2) Some fans were planning on camping on Jon Johnston's lawn to save some bucks.
3) Minnesota is only allocating 3,000 tickets. Most other Big Ten schools are alloting 4,000 tickets to Husker fans. Considering team and official needs, this might cut the number of tickets available to fans almost in half.

Why in the world is Minnesota so high? Is it because of the Historical rivalry? Certainly not because they are a Top 10 team!
Wisconsin I understand and Michigan ok - although they aren't all that good. But Minnesota?
Or is this based on number of tickets available to the away school and NOT on how good the team actually is????

Away game ticket invoices are hitting mailboxes this week and in case you wondered here's the breakdown of required priority points to get tickets for each away game:
Wyoming - 146 points
Wisconsin - 707 points
Minnesota - 330 points
Penn State - 91 points
Michigan - 265 points
The value of each priority point represents $100 in historical giving, so for example you have to have lifetime giving of over $70,000 to have the opportunity to purchase Wisconsin tickets.
As a side note this is the first time in 11 years that I have been denied tickets for away games. I was invoiced for 2 of the 4 games I requested and denied tickets for Wisconsin and Minnesota (I did not request tickets for the Penn State game).
