[Husker] Texas got it's payday

20 year, $300M from ESPN for their own network.  Basically it's just to
broadcast everything that's not already on TV, like a basketball game or
two, some baseball, some women's volleyball, etc. etc. They said they'll
also put on some school sponsored stuff like music productions and plays.

Since Texas isn't going to share a SINGLE DIME of this money, the disparity
in the future "Texas and the 9 wives" conference is going to be ridiculous
bordering on laughable.  Some reports say that the "new Big XII deal" that
isn't created yet will provide somewhere around $20-22M for the big names
(UT, OU, aTm) and all the way down to $10M or so for the little guys (KU,
MU, KSU).  Add in the extra $15M a year that UT is now going to get and that
will give them 3-4 times the amount of money the little guys get.

Good to be getting out, IMO.
