I'm having trouble following this because people won't just say what
they mean.  Are you referring to Sanders, Brown, and Cotton?

If one of the three is Marvin Sanders, it's difficult to believe that
anyone would want to replace him.  How has NU's secondary been playing?
It is great that NU has a top-quality coach who may want to remain an
assistant at NU for the duration.  Loyalty works in favor of Pelini
here.

I haven't seen much unhappiness with Ron Brown either.

Barney Cotton never worked for Osborne, although he was a player on
Osborne's teams.  Even if Pelini wanted to replace Cotton, which is
pure speculation without any basis I've seen, it is difficult to
believe he couldn't do so.

I can't believe that Pelini would leave NU over the prior relationships
of any of these three to Osborne.  I can't imagine that would be high
on the list of issues for Pelini.
