In one of the article I read it was said that LSU will do what it has to to 
try and keep Miles, The article went on to say that LSU was in a budget 
crunch, so it was not known if the money would come from outside sources.

It is possible that Miles is just looking for a contract extension and a few 
more millions from LSU. Might as well play the panic card when it is in your 
hand.

Heck Pelini may play it as well for all we know
