This guy sounds like some 10 year old who just wants to be able to say "na-na-na-na, I told you so!"
What a dope. Tell him thanks for me- he and hacks like this other moron Lisa Horne are the very reason I quit journalism school and went into higher education.

I forwarded my comment to Ryan Autullo - the writer of the Blade article - see below his response to my remark to him. I guess he believes Pelini interviewed and turned down the Miami job ... I thought he wasn't even contacted???

Steve,
I'll give you a refresher on Philosophy 101. Since Pelini turned down the Miami (Fla.) job, it stands to reason that he's not averse to leaving Lincoln, Neb. Jim Tressel isn't interviewing for jobs. Neither is Mack Brown.
Believe me, Steve. Pelini is intrigued by the Michigan job. Not saying he'll get it, not even saying he'll be a candidate. But will you e-mail me admitting I was right if either one happens?

Really..? the last line "Pelini reportedly turned down the Miami (Fla.) job this offseason, which could be an indication he's willing to leave Nebraska." is great reasoning... since he refused to leave, he will probably leave. Any Philosophy majors want to refute this statement. I vagely remember Philosophy 101 about 30 years ago ....

I'm not sure there's any meat in it, unless you count baloney.
