Did you watch the video on the linked page to the article?  If so, can you honestly say if none of this had come to light the way it did, that Bo didn't mean to let the kid call a play?  Are you aware that Charlie Weis actually DID let a kid call a play?  It's not out of the realm of possibility and was delivered by Bo in a way that, yes, naive little ole me thought he meant it.  It sounds like the kid did, too.

Out of the realm of possibility would have been allowing him to call a passing play on first down.  If he would have said that, I KNOW he would have been joking.
