Bo knows defense. The Huskers are a defense first team. It's not going to
change any time soon. He is the polar opposite of Leach who is offense
focused.

I can't think of an offensive player that has showed much improvement this
year but look at Joe Gantz and how he improved a couple of years ago. I
believe he was here with Pelini, wasn't he? I believe Cody Green has shown
some improvement but he needs more playing time. My opinion for next year is
CG as the starting QB (after the first half of the second game) replacing
TM. TM will come in to run the Wildcat. Can TM tackle? Think of him as a
safety or small LB with his quick step and speed! He would be another
David.

I have mentioned this before and it really bothers me. Why can't the
Huskers sign any 4 or 5 star receivers? I may have a poor memory but has a
single WR been drafted by the NFL since Irving Fryar in 1984? We have had
tight ends drafted but no WR's. Has a QB been drafted since Vince Ferragamo?
It would seem to me that in the 25 years we would sign a top receiver or two
just by accident. I look at the WR's we have on the team for next year and
I don't see much talent. If we had it, they would have been on the field
instead of a senior walk-on (who by the way played very well when given the
chance and should have been playing all year because he got open and had
good hands.)

The Huskers wasted Niles Paul. They should have let him play RB like he
wanted to. He pouted for 2 years because they made him a WR. He could have
bulked up a little more and he would have been as good a RB as his uncle
Ahman Green. One announcer stated during a game that Paul had very small
hands and that was what caused him to drop the ball on occasion. Having
said all that, Paul was our star at WR, played very well when he was healthy
and will get drafted as a kick returner or as a third down back.

While I think Watson's Xs&Os playbook & play calling ability isn't where it
should be, I really call into question player development, especially QBs. I
see the defense and special teams get better overall week to week & month to
month, but the offense just stagnates to gets worst.

Name one offensive player that in your opinion has been
significantly/decently coached up to be better than they arrived.
