Some yokel from West Virginia wrote in the comments that Pederson is
only being blamed because of "vindictive Nebraksa fans". Is it really
that hard to see that he simply isn't an effective leader and no
respectable coach would be caught dead working for him? Right or wrong,
a lot of coaches are not going to forget the mess he caused at Nebraska,
even if Pitt fans want to sweep it under the rug.
As sickening as the Holiday Bowl was to watch, at least we are light
years beyond where we were at the end of 2007. Bo needs to make some
huge changes on offense, but I think we can get there.
