I'm not a combine geek by any means, but I did do a little peeking at
ESPN's blogs from over the weekend. Looks like Roy Helu Jr. did
himself some good, other than his 40 time. Sounds pretty impressive
to me. Of course, we all "knew" he'd do well, didn't we.
Quoted from ESPN's blog, Todd McShay, from Scouts, Inc. on running backs:
"Under the radar
Roy Helu (Nebraska) ran the short shuttle in 4.01 and Graig Cooper
Miami (Fla.) in 4.03, the fastest times in the past six years. Helu
also had a top-five finish in the three-cone drill and ran the
sixth-fastest 40 time of time his group with a 4.42."
