One thing I've been thinking about is that Watson never signed on to coach
under Bo. It's the same as the danger of sticking with the same job when
your company comes under new management. The job is nice, but your new boss
may have different expectations for you, which are not in line with your
skills. His personality also might not be the best match for yours.
We don't know how much these things affected Watson's job performance. It's
admirable that he stuck around and tried to make it work, I guess, but my
personal feeling is that Bo and Watson were not a good match. And that's not
even getting into the question of whether Watson has the skills to perform
in that job anyway (we've been over that enough!).
