I know all of this excites some people, and I welcome them to that
excitement. Good for them. For me its just like the Oscars every
year. I'm fine if I read about who won the next day, maybe, but I'm
not staying up and watching that on TV. And I'm sure I'm not going to
watch Bo in a press conference - that is as painful to watch as
anything I can imagine. What I want from this group is demonstrated
on the field, with good, well-coached players, beating the teams we're
supposed to beat and competing against the teams that we're not. For
the second year in a row, we didn't see that on the field, at least on
the offensive side, and that's where all of this has meaning.
Frankly, a coach gushing over his new appointment is fine but that
doesn't win games or even move the ball.
