Nope, I disagree.

'Knowing' who you think you will start is not the same as 'deciding', which really
means 'announcing', because it allow for the POSSIBILITY that there could be a 
change without having to explain it.  

The media and general public's obsession with knowing the rationale behind every 
decision, great and small, immediately if not sooner, is often counter-productive.

I wonder, was it really the media or the other team that they didn't want to know?
Or Las Vegas??
