I'll leave the rest alone because your glasses are nice and rosey, but the
difference is he said THEY DID NOT KNOW who would be quarterback and they
wouldn't decide until the day of the game or the day before (something he
repeated several times throughout the season). He did not "We're not going
to name a starter" like you said. If he had said the latter, I would have
no problem and it would not be a lie.
