TO is about stability and I can envision how he'd want some Husker blood on
the coaching staff. I can see how he would encourage Bo to have that same
thought.
The Frost story is not a black-n-white decision. Having a rising star like
Frost around is a good hedge on the bet that Bo will vacate the position
within the next 5 years. We can save the discussion on whether he vacates
voluntarily or resigns ala Sanders. I am not suggesting that Bo has done
anything to cause separation, but I can see that his sideline demeanor and
public perception can have some backlash if not corrected and aligned in the
immediate future.
Now, if Frost is leveraging his status with Oregon to earn a few more
dollars, then good for him. This negotiating needs to occur in private
without a timeline. Patience...as Frost already knows that the he looks
good in red. It's only a matter of how much green TO is willing to pay the
young man.
So, it's a Red-n-Green decision!

I had the opportunity to hear Scott talk at a Fellowship of Christian
Athletes meeting years ago in Grand Island. It was an unbelievable talk for
somebody that young, very passionate, funny, insightful. He is extremely
smart, physicially gifted, and experienced playing on the offense and
defensive sides of the ball, He has learned from the best. As far as
coordinator experience, nobody has any until they get their first job. Plus
he graduated from my high school : ) Steve in Omaha
