[Husker] Bo Speaks

Trying to put this through the coach-speak interpreter, I think that this is the
formality of how UNL has to hire coaches...even though Bo makes the decision in
the end and probably seeks out the coach he wants. He still has to have them
actually apply for the job. I noticed the UNL web site also has a posting for a
volleyball coach as well.

However, contrary to what a lot of people are saying, the job posting isn't for
an offensive coordinator. It's for an offensive position coach.

I do notice that the job requires "3 years of college experience" ... and Scott
Frost has three years (2 at Oregon, 1 at Northern Iowa)

Mitch Sherman of the World-Herald talked to Frost's father apparently, and said
that Frost is interested in returning to NU...but only as a coordinator.

. . . to Shatel. Says he had no knowledge of the job posting and speculated that
it might be for an internship. But as Shatel notes, it's quite a job description
for an intern, besides which the posting is labeled "Assistant Coach -
Football."

Further says he is "close" to hiring Ross Els as the new LB coach. Declined to
discuss Frost or any other speculation related to the offense, but allowed that
there could be some staff changes next week.
