[Husker] just a thought

Judging from the number of teams that have looked to jump into BCS conferences as of late, I don't think this will have much of an impact.

But there always be a need for non-BCS conference opponents, as most major schools need the extra home game revenue. What will be tougher is that the mid-majors that have had success obtaining 2-for-1 deals with BCS teams may not be able to do that down the line.  The Nebraskas of college football will play you, but won't be able to play in Laramie, Hattiesburg, or Fresno anymore.

If all the "major" (ie, automatic BCS) conferences engaged agreements like this (ie, with the other automatic-BCS conferences , would that just make being a member of a non-BCS conference that much less attractive?  meaning, less opportunity for a Wyoming to play a Nebraska, since there wouldn't be any space on the schedule.

Or, how soon until we have another 'tier' of teams?
