I am very glad that the B1G will not have 9 game conference schedules.
It is kind of like too much inbreeding. And, it makes really measuring
the strengths of various conferences difficult because there are only
a handful of quality matchups across conferences.
On the other hand, I think the one game against PAC12 is great --- much
better than another B1G game. And, from TV perspective, it expands the
audience. I hope that they spread these games across the season, although
it is more likely to have them bunched up before the conference games.
I'd even be in favor of having one fewer B1G game if it would be possible
to do the same with the SEC and/or Big 12. How great would that be for
college football?
