I have the same feeling.  I can understand the "I'll show all those schools that overlooked me" attitude, and even that it could help make you a better-than-expected college player, but: 

 - what about the rest of your team?  were they *all* similarly "overlooked"? 

and 

 - how much does that attitude help once you get to t he NFL ?
