Absolutely, it takes both to win big.

Keep in mind Prince and Suh, for instance, were brought in by that other guy
and especially Suh was...well...mediocre until a real coach got hold of him

I realize that the ratings players receive has a role but I think more is
determined by coaching. He who shall not be named had ranked recruiting
classes but did't deliver. Same for Weis @ ND and Mack Brown. Always top
classes but busted in many respects.
