[Husker] 9-win seasons

My math may be a bit off here, but I did some "statistics" (of course, I
picked the stats I wanted to make a point)

Osborne's first 4 years
Record vs Higher ranked teams 1-3 (25%)
Losses and Ties vs Lower ranked teams 8

Pelini's first 4 years
Record vs Higher ranked teams 4-7 (36%)
Losses vs Lower ranked teams 7

I guess I also could have done this:
Osborne's first 4 years (I counted ties as losses)
Record vs Ranked teams 10-6-1 (59%)
Record vs Unranked teams 27-3-1 (87%)
    Overall record 37-9-2 (77%)

Pelini's first 4 years
Record vs Ranked teams 7-9 (44%)
Record vs Unranked teams 31-6 (84%)
    Overall record 38-15 (72%)

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing...just making a point that you can
come up with any conclusion you want, based on selected statistics.

I think it's impossible to compare the two, actually. Osborne inherited a
2-time National Championship team. Pelini inherited a team that was in
ruins. Osborne didn't have to make any changes to strategy. Pelini had to
deal with the WCO and a defense that was one of the worst in the country.

I like the direction Pelini is taking this team. Whether or not the Huskers
will get back to being a powerhouse is yet to be determined.
