[Husker] Frank Solich's Bobcats win their bowl game

I have often wondered why Frank never got a shot at the big time again. Perhaps he had some interviews but if he did I never heard about them. I don't know if the whole story came out when he was fired at Nebraska, but i was under the impression he had a problem with booze. I remember an incident with driving and drinking in Ohio after he had left Nebraska. Anyone have any thoughts on this?.. I agree, he was a better coach then he ever got credit for but as you know, stepping into Tom's shoes would not have been easy for anyone.

It's a shame that a more prestigious program didn't give him a shot a few years ago....he's a lot better coach than many ever gave him credit for.

It's great to see Frank Solich's team, the Ohio Bobcats, get their school's first bowl victory with a thrilling 24-23 come-from-behind win over Utah St.
The Bobcats finished 10-4 with 3 of those losses by 1, 3, and 3 points.
