PSU's AD was not in Texas last week.

Interviewing is another matter entirely...though both Osborne and Pelini
both deny the report, for what it's worth.

The Pitt connection could be fascinating.  However, let's not forget that
Pederson's return to Pitt was the same weekend that Pelini returned to
Lincoln.  Pelini was busy that weekend coaching LSU in the SEC Championship
game.

My guess is that if Pelini was Pitt's head coach in 2007, Nebraska probably
still would have been interested in Pelini at that time...and that Pelini
probably would have been headed to Nebraska simultaneous to Pederson's
return.

The article says he "talked" to the AD.  He is not in the running and the
talk may have been that he wasn't interested. 

It also states he was a finalist for the Pitt gig in 05. I assume that
before SP was rehired.  Imagine if Bo had gone to Pitt and SP became the AD
again.  

Bo has denied interviewing for PSU.
