[Husker] McKewon on Caputo

[Mike Jaixen]

Burkhead played hurt most of the month of November.  I believe it was a foot injury; he was observed in a walking boot at times during the week.  Many teammates commented on how he could barely walk during the week, then he'd go out and play his butt off each Saturday.

Burkhead is hurt ? That is not good.  Knowing him, he will not miss a play.

KLIN does a daily Practice Report, a short audio piece that you can
download from the station's web site.  Last Thursday the report was
that Burkhead was back at practice but limited, and Rodriquez was back
practicing but his status for the bowl game "is uncertain."
