> I'm not sure which is the tail or the dog in this story. On the one hand I'm not a Pederson fan but resigning via text? It makes me wonder about the coach as much as anything.
Perhaps he was on the road and didn't want to take an extra day to return
to Pittsburgh to meet with his (former) players before heading to Tempe?
Or maybe SP banned him from returning to meet with the players?
Another interesting question is, who will be coaching Pitt for their bowl
game against SMU? According to ESPN, three coaches (Magee, Gibson and Dews)
have already left to go to Arizona and work for RichRod. If Graham
takes anybody with him, it'll be a ghost town in the coaching offices
at the Tower.
Hey, maybe this is SP's chance to show if he really CAN coach. (Tom Osborne
though otherwise years ago, it seems, hiring Frank Solich over SP
back when they were both graduate asisstants at Nebraska.)

> Bottom line, Pitt is a mess and recruiting season is in the final push time period.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving AD.
