[Husker] CapitalOne Bowl: Huskers vs. South Carolina

That was a rough day, no doubt. I do recall being amazed at the game by
previously unknown QB Tom Haase and seeing TE William Washington's first TD
catch (he was known as a fierce blocker... receiver... not so much). We
also got a  good look at I Back Derek Brown

That was a rough year with the Huskers having the dubious distinction of
losing to TWO national champions in the same season. Frankly the whipping
by Tech wasn't as bored into my memory as seeing the gates of civility
breached 45-10 by the Sooner hordes :) <just kidding>

That year may have well been the low point of Dr. Tom's era, at least in my
memory as it seemed we were getting routinely whipped by a growing array of
upstarts.
