[Husker] LSU vs Alabama

The outrage wasn't because Nebraska was in the BCS championship game. or because Nebraska didn't play in their conference championship game...the outrage was because the team that the sportswriters declared to be #2 wasn't in the BCS championship game.  Because most sportswriters have already declared that Alabama is the worthy challenger (like it or not), there is no controversy.

So where is the outrage about a team that didn’t win their conference playing for the MNC like there was in 2001 when the same thing happened to Nebraska.  

Wasn’t a rule passed (“The Nebraska Rule”) that forbid the current BCS BS Championship scenario?

Just sayin’...
