I suppose we should be grateful that LSU and Alabama are in the
same division in the SEC.
Otherwise we could have been subjected to this scenario:
1. Regular season, 6-3 win by LSU
2. SEC Championship game, 9-7 win by Alabama
Then there would have been a clamoring, at least in certain parts
of the nation, for the NC game to be the rubber match.
Mike Huguenin always ranks the bowl game in order of interest,
the Fiesta Bowl gets his nod as the most interesting game,
the Rose Bowl is #2, then Bama-LSU.
Nebraska vs South Carolina makes a respectable 6th place, last year
I think the rematch with Washington put us towards the bottom of
the list.
This year 35th place goes to the Kraft Fight Hunber bowl matchup between
two coach-less teams, Illinois and UCLA.
He also notes that the GoDaddy.Com bowl beween Arkansas State
and Northern Illinois, the last game before the NC game, could be
your last chance to see a touchdown scored in a college football
game this season, and gives it 14th place. :giggle:
