[Husker] It's official, Carl Pelini is going to Florida Atlantic

Florida Atlantic University made it official this morning that Carl 
Pelini will be their new head coach.

No reaction yet from Nebraska, including whether or not Carl will
be involved in Nebraska's bowl game preparation.

One has to wonder if Carl will try to take any Nebraska staff
with him.  

FAU closed out 2011 with a shutout loss to finish 1-11, so Carl
has his work cut out for him.  

Mike Stoops, a long time friend of Bo Pelini from their high school
days in Youngstown OH, has expressed interest in taking Carl's place
at Nebraska, but Ohio State is also said to be interested in Stoops.  

BTW, in case nobody noticed, add Pat Hill to the list of coaches
who got fired this year, after 15 years of being the anybody-anytime-anywhere
giant-killer at Fresno State, Pat got outstaged by schools like Boise State
and TCU.
