I hate to reply to myself, but one factor in Michigan getting a BCS
bid was that they needed to move up a couple of spots in the rankings
to become eligible for an at large bid.  Well, Houston who is ranked
#6 is getting spanked by Southern Miss today.  They were 12-0 and
almost ensured of a BCS bowl game with a win.  Not gonna happen.  And
with Houston dropping, Michigan is likely to rise in the polls.
Enough?  We'll have to see.  If so, our chances get even stronger for
the Capital One/Outback bowls.
