I never thought about it that way but it sure seems you are right.  If
Oklahoma had stood up to UT when Nebraska tried to, Texas probably couldn't
have gotten away with all they did.  But OK didn't, they threw in with Texas
and not their old Big 8 partner.  Like you said..."the hell with them"
