I think an annual A&M/Texas game is probably over with.  The times, they are a changin', that's for sure.

Here's an interesting perspective that points out the SEC might not have a plethora of teams to pick from to get to 14 teams:

Maybe this is why they want to "slow things down" a bit with A&M.  There are also some interesting TV revenue ramifications. It almost seems like timing-wise, the SEC would do better to wait until 2013 to add teams, but A&M appears to be in a real hurry to get the move over with.

I wonder if A&M will get the questionable calls this season on their way out?
