[Husker] Next Saturday...

TV plans are somewhat TBD, and it's not exactly clear why.  The best speculation is that there still is an issue between BTN and one of Nebraska's satellite providers, and it seems to be revolving around Omaha's Cox Cable.

What we do know:  The game will be at 2:30 pm and BTN has assigned announcers to Lincoln.  Kevin Kugler of Omaha's KOZN and Westwood One will be on play-by-play, and Ahman Green will be the sideline reporter.  The Lincoln Journal-Star reports that Time Warner Cable will have the game on their BTN channel.

If I had to guess, BTN will carry the game in most of the United States, though it may be blocked out on certain cable systems in Nebraska that haven't recently agreed to a new deal with the Big Ten. If I had to speculate, Omaha's Cox Cable is most likely to not carry the game at this time.

This probably is one of those things that is still being negotiated at this time, and depending on how far they want to push it, this could go down to the last minute. If you live in Nebraska, your best bet is to contact your cable company and ask them specifically if the Nebraska/Chattanooga game will be televised and on what channel.  Do not accept the answer "BTN"...because you may see Illinois/Arkansas State or a rerun.

Speaking of next Saturday.  Does any one know when the TV coverage will
be announced?  I know that Gary Fead had some prior information but I
was looking on the BIG network website and still don't see the
announcement or programming updates.  I just would like to see the first
two games on the BIG tv schedule.  Thanks!
