[Husker] Next Saturday...

I was starting to think I was the only one. OL questions ranks #1 on my
list of concerns, followed closely by the QB. If TMart has that burst, he's
fantastic, but when he didn't have, he's incredibly sub par. His throwing
mechanics aren't great, but they're not nearly as bad as his pocket
awareness.

Hopefully this new offense taylors (pun intended) to his abilities. We'll
see.

I'm still guessing a 9 or 10 win season, but not top 10 like the preseason
rankings.

I don't think our schedule is as hard as it seems. Mostly because Mich, PSU
and Iowa are all not as good as their name suggests and Wash lost their
offense in Locker. OSU will still be pretty good, but not NC contenders
like they would be with Prior. I think the best team on our schedule is
MSU, but IIRC even they were playing inspired football because their coach
was having health problems.

Anyhow, I very much hope I'm wrong, but I don't see us being that much
better.

I'm not as optimistic about the year as others are either. I'm posted a lot
on HuskerMax about the discrepancy between the computer and human polls.
Looking at last years stats, the fact that we won 10 games is very
surprising. Without some very big changes, a 10 win season this year seems
very unlikely as well.
