Now you know why the compliance office at most universities has one or
more attorneys on staff, rather than a semi-retired media relations guy,
which was often the case 10 years ago.

I'm somewhat reminded of the situation in Atlas Shrugged, when the
government guy said something about the regulations being complex
and conflicting, otherwise how could they control you?
