The guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct covered this issue pretty well yesterday
afternoon, and I was glad I was in the car driving to KC and able to listen
to them for a couple of hours. I certainly hope this puts to rest the idea
that hangs out there that Nebraska left because we couldn't beat Texass.
Now it should be perfectly clear that we left because Texass had no
intention of sharing toys in the sandbox - they all had to be theirs, and
they will be. We left because it was clear that our influence was going to
be marginalized. If they can do this to aTm, what hope does a Kansas or
Missouri have?

The radio guys feel that maybe this opens up the SEC to add as many as three
teams, including some ACC teams - not so much for football, but to bolster
the basketball. Interesting name they came up with was Duke. I don't see
that personnally, but you never know what happens when money enters the
equation. Why, just look at Texass!!
