[Husker] A&M Jumps to the SEC on Monday

The Houston Chronicle is reporting tonight that the SEC is meeting this weekend to extend an invitation to Texas A&M.  A&M's board of regents will meet via a teleconference on Monday to approve the switch.

This is apparently to beat a Texas legislative committee hearing that was called for Tuesday.

A&M was told that the Big XII feels that the University of Texas controls the future of the Big XII conference (didn't we already know this?) and that the University of Houston would be a viable replacement for A&M.
